Tour Plan
Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport. Assist and greet by our representative in Jordan. Start our day by visiting Madaba, the Monastery of St. George, which hosts the unique Mosaic Map of Egypt, Jordan, and the Holy Land believed to be the first one in the area built in the 6th century. Continue to Mt. Nebo where Moses viewed the Promised Land before he died (Deuteronomy 34:1-8). Transfer to Amman Hotel for check-in, dinner, and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day visit to the most famous attraction in Jordan, the Nabatean city of Petra. Petra, meaning āstoneā in Greek, is perhaps the most spectacular ancient city remaining in the modern world and a must-see for visitors to Jordan and the Middle East. The city, carved out of solid rock, was the capital of the Nabateans - Arabs who dominated the lands of Jordan during pre-Roman times. In the quiet of the early morning or late afternoon, when the sandstone rock glows red with quiet grandeur, you'll truly appreciate the magnificence of Petra. Return to Amman Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and head to Allenby crossing bridge. After passport control and crossing to the Holy Land, meet our guide and driver. Start the day by driving north towards Nazareth to visit the Annunciation (Luke 1:26-38), the church built on the house of Mary where the Angel Gabriel appeared and told her she would bear the Son of God. Continue to Tiberias to check in at our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Begin with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, followed by a visit to the Ancient Boat Museum that houses a 2000-year-old fishing boat. Continue to the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Reflect on Jesusā sermon and enjoy the enchanting gardens. Visit Tabgha, the site where Jesus fed the crowd of 5,000, and Peter's Primacy, where Jesus appeared to His disciples for the third time after His Resurrection (John 21:9). Visit Capernaum, associated with Jesus' ministry. See the house of Peter's mother-in-law and an ancient synagogue. Drive to Caesarea Philippi, located at the sources of the River Jordan, where Peter identified Jesus as the Messiah (Matthew 16:13-20). Return to the Sea of Galilee along the Golan Heights overlooking Damascus. Transfer to Bethlehem for dinner and overnight.
Drive south to Bethlehem and pause at Shepherd's Field, where angels announced Jesus' birth to shepherds (Luke 2:8-20). Visit the Nativity Church, marking Jesus' birthplace, and the Garden Tomb, the site of Jesus' resurrection, to visit the empty tomb and celebrate Holy Communion. Continue to the Israel Museum to encounter the Dead Sea Scrolls. Return to Bethlehem for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, begin the day on the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the Old City. Visit the Ascension Church, walk the Palm Sunday Trail to the Church of the Pater Noster, where Christ taught the Lordās Prayer (Luke 11:2, Matthew 6:9-13). Visit the Church of Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem (Luke 19:37-44), the Church of All Nations, and the Church of Gethsemane (Mark 14:26-72). Continue to Mt. Zion to visit the Upper Room, Dormition Abbey, and the Tomb of David. Visit St. Peter of Gallicantu, where Jesus was jailed after praying in Gethsemane (Mark 14:26-72). Then visit the Western Wall, the holiest site in Judaism. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport. Depending on flight time, visit Old Jaffa, St. Peterās Church, and Simon the Tannerās house.
