Tour Plan
Arrive at Cairo International Airport. Visit the Hanging Church and Coptic Church, believed to be where the Holy Family stayed after fleeing Bethlehem. Explore the Papyrus Factory to learn about ancient papermaking. Check-in at the hotel in Cairo for dinner and overnight.
Enjoy a full city tour of Cairo, including visits to the Egyptian Museum, Pyramids, and Sphinx. Explore Khan El Khalili Bazaar for souvenirs, followed by a dinner cruise with entertainment. Return to the hotel in Cairo for overnight.
Depart early for Mt. Sinai, where Moses received the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17, Exodus 31:18). Visit the Suez Canal and Moses Springs (Exodus 3:2-5). Overnight stay in St. Catherine.
Cross the Taba border into Israel, passing Eilat City and viewing Lot's Wife's salt pillar (Gen 19:26). Visit Jericho, the world's oldest city, and see the Mt. of Temptation (Matt 4:1-11, Luke 4:1-13, Mark 1:12-13) and Zacchaeus' tree (Luke 19:1-10). If time permits, enjoy a dip in the Dead Sea before heading to Bethlehem for overnight.
Visit the Mt. of Olives for a panoramic view of the Old City. Explore significant sites such as the Church of All Nations, the Church of Gethsemane (Mark 14:26-72), and the Upper Room on Mt. Zion. Visit the Nativity Church in Bethlehem and the Garden Tomb. Return to the hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight.
Explore the Old City of Jerusalem, including St. Stephen's Gate, the Church of St. Anne, and the Pools of Bethesda (John 1:5-9). Walk the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. End the day with a visit to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Travel to Tel Aviv, visiting St. Peter's Church and Simon the Tanner's House. Continue to Haifa, visiting Bahia Gardens and Stella Maris Church. Drive to Cana to visit the Wedding Church (John 2) and renew wedding vows. Proceed to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation, then to Tiberias for overnight.
Visit Mt. Tabor (Matthew 17:1-13, Mark 9:2, Luke 9:28), the Mount of Beatitudes (Matthew 5-7), Tabgha (Luke 9:10-17), and Capernaum (Matthew 4:13, 23). Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Return to the hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.
Cross into Jordan at the Shiekh Hussein Bridge. Visit the Monastery of St. George in Madaba, famous for its unique mosaic map, and Mt. Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 34:1-8). Overnight stay in Amman.
Spend a full day exploring Petra, the stunning Nabatean city carved out of rock. Marvel at the temples, tombs, and intricate buildings. Return to the hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight.
