Tour Plan
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, visit the Hanging Church and Coptic Church, believed to be where the Holy Family stayed after fleeing from Bethlehem. Explore the Papyrus Factory to discover how the first paper was made. Check into your hotel in Cairo for dinner and overnight.
Enjoy a full city tour including visits to the Egyptian Museum, Pyramids, and Sphinx. In the afternoon, visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar for souvenirs. In the evening, enjoy a dinner cruise with entertainment by a belly dancer and the "Men in Skirt." Return to your hotel in Cairo for overnight.
Early breakfast at the hotel before proceeding to Mt. Sinai, the traditional site where Moses received the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17, Exodus 31:18). Visit Suez Canal & Moses Springs, then drive to St. Catherine (Exodus 3:2-5). Check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the Taba border. Cross into the Holy Land and meet your representative. Pass by Eilat City, view Lot’s Wife salt pillar, and drive via the Shfela. Continue driving to Bethlehem. If time permits, visit the Shepherds’ Field (Ruth 3:5), where the angels appeared to the shepherds and announced the birth of Jesus. Continue to the Church of the Nativity (Luke 2:1-20) and visit the Grotto of the Nativity, which marks the spot where Jesus was born. Check into your hotel for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, begin your day on the Mount of Olives with a panoramic view of the Old City. Visit the Ascension Church where Jesus ascended to Heaven. Walk the Palm Sunday Trail to the Church of the Pater Noster, built on the traditional site where Christ taught the Lord’s Prayer (Luke 11:2, Matt 6:9-13). Continue to the Church of Dominus Flevit, the place where Jesus wept over Jerusalem (Luke 19:37-44). Visit the Church of All Nations, Church of Gethsemane (Mark 14:26-72), the Upper Room, Dormition Abbey, the Tomb of David, and St. Peter of Gallicantu. Then, visit the Western Wall, also called the Wailing Wall, a section of the Western retaining wall of the Temple Mount and Judaism's holiest site. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Begin the day at Bethany, the hometown of Lazarus, and visit his empty tomb. Travel along the shores of the Dead Sea to Qumran, visit the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, and understand the importance of the discovery. Drive to the Baptismal Site in Bethany on the Jordan River where Jesus was baptized, and renew your baptismal vows. Drive along the Jordan Valley to Jericho, the oldest continuously inhabited city. Visit the Sycamore Tree, the site where Zacchaeus climbed to see Jesus. In the late afternoon, enjoy a dip in the relaxing Dead Sea waters. Return to the hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, visit the old city of Jerusalem and enter through St. Stephen's Gate where St. Stephen was stoned. Visit the Church of St. Anne, the Pools of Bethesda, and follow the Via Dolorosa, the path Jesus walked to his crucifixion. Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Tomb of Christ, and the Stone of Unction. Continue to Ein Karem, the birthplace of John the Baptist, and visit the Church of John the Baptist (Luke 1:39-56). If time permits, visit the Israel Museum to view the Dead Sea Scrolls. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Tel Aviv (Jaffa). Visit St. Peter's Church where the miracle of St. Peter took place (Acts 9:40). Drive to Haifa to visit the Baha'i Gardens and Stella Maris Church. View the Caesarea Aqueduct and visit the Wedding Church in Cana (John 2). Renew marriage vows, then continue to Nazareth, Jesus’ boyhood home (Matthew 2:23), and visit the Church of the Annunciation. Check in at your hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, visit Mt. Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration (Matthew 17:1-13). Visit the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7). Visit Tabgha, the site of the Feeding of the 5,000 (Luke 9:10-17), and the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes. Visit Capernaum, where Jesus began preaching, and see the synagogue where Jesus taught (Matthew 4:13, 23). Enjoy lunch with St. Peter’s fish along the Sea of Galilee. End the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards the Sheikh Hussein Bridge to cross into Jordan. Meet your company representative and start the visit to the Monastery of St. George in Madaba, which hosts the unique Mosaic Map of Egypt, Jordan, and the Holy Land from the 6th century. Continue to Mt. Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land before he died (Deuteronomy 34:1-8). Check in at your hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day visit to Petra, the Nabatean city renowned for its rock-carved architecture. Return to your hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight.
